Sirius Technical Services is seeking a Human Resources Specialist for a Direct Hire Role in West Point, MS.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Supports all human resources activities to ensure HR functions meet the highest quality standards. Provides administrative support to Sr. HR Manager to ensure departmental goals and corporate goals are met and communicated. The HR Specialist will also help support with the day to day of the HR department with duties to include, event planning, file maintenance and employee relations activities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· BACHELORS DEGREE – B.S. in Business or HR related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 3 + years’ experience in HR field and business environment
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• HR technical knowledge and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of standard business practices
• Ability to multi-task, high energy and a self-starter
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a team environment
• Ability to work across multiple departments, levels of management and outside entities
• Experience with ADP
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares and posts correspondence for Sr. HR Manager
• New hire onboarding, including E-Verify as needed.
• Prepares and posts employee birthday and sympathy cards
• Maintains and communicates participation in the company recognition program
• SAP/Supply ordering.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly HR reports
• Maintains all employee files
• Manages Tuition reimbursement program
• Supports on boarding by preparing new hire packets
• Prepares and posts correspondence to Ultra VNC Viewer
• Maintains Net2 Badge Access for YTMM, including creation of badges for employees and contractors
• Creates QR codes, manages SEEDS
• Coordinates employee uniform program
• Initiates and terminates SSA tickets for IT
• Processes employee terminations in ADP
• Instructs employees on LMS
• Supports recruiting process by scheduling out of town pre-employment screens
• Handles hotel accommodations
• Must be capable of forming partnerships and work with all levels of the organization (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Other duties as needed
