Job Description:

i360 has an upcoming need for a Functional Oracle General Consultants at SME level to support our Federal Client.   The successful candidate should have functional experience with implementing, troubleshooting and supporting Oracle Federal Financials 12-12.2.4 v in various modules. The ideal candidate should have broad experience with Oracle Federal Financial processes. (This role is seeking an OFF generalist supporting 3+ modules spreading across Procure to Pay (P2P), Contract Life-Cycle Management (CLM), Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA), General Ledger (GL), Federal Administrator (FV),  Federal Budget to Report(B2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Acquire to Retire (A2R) modules. This program is on-boarding now through January 2019 in Herndon VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional experience with expertise in Oracle modules and processes like P2P, A2R, O2R, B2R, SLA, OTL, FV and Projects. Duties include supporting Operations and Maintenance of Oracle R 12.2.4, resolving issues, leading enhancements and supporting users.
  • Working with Oracle support to obtain patches and testing them to resolve application issues
  • Identify and document requirements working with users
  • Identify processes, document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes for customer migration to R12 standard model
  • Develop process designs and adds new system configurations to enable designs
  • Develop test plans, provide testing documentation, and perform testing activities
  • Provide input to planning and scheduling direction for project and release management
  • Provide leadership and expertise to review and recommend customer fit and improvements based upon “best practices” and R12 functionality
  • Document all recommendations, requirements, design, configurations, meeting notes, test scripts and results, and project issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Oracle Releases 12- 12.2.4 Contract Life-Cycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay (P2P), Acquire to Retire (A2R), Order to Cash (O2C), Budget to Report B2R), Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA), Federal Administrator (FV) Projects Costing and Billing (PA), Good Communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • All candidates should have experience in federal financial applications, processes, and reporting.
  • Skills required to fill purpose/duties of position listed above including:
  • Minimum of 8 years’ functional experience in implementing Oracle R12 Federal Financial applications with emphasis on analysis, implementation and problem resolution
  • Minimum of 3 years' functional experience in configuring in a Federal environment
  • Strong Oracle General Functional Federal Financials experience, including a working knowledge business process flows
  • Demonstrated prior experience of Federal Accounting and reporting practices (USSGL/GTAS/SFIS)
  • Prior experience in Federal month-end and year-end closing processes, with ability to analyze and resolve issues
  • Prior experience designing and executing end-to-end integration testing
  • Hands on experience configuring Oracle R12 modules in a Federal environment to enable processes and all associated setup, activities and reports for:
  •    Procurement to Pay (P2P)
  •    Contract Life-Cycle Management (CLM)
  •    Budget to Report (B2R)
  •    Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA)
  •    Acquire to Retire (A2R)
  •    Order to Cash (O2R)
  •     Time& Labor (OTL)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem solving ability with prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests within the Oracle E-Business Suite   
  • Must be able to clear a federal background check - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information    

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated  excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to clear a federal background check - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Full time employees preferred for this role
  • Must be able to travel to client locations in the DC Metro and CONUS (Continental US)
  • Local Resources Required
  • Must be a US Citizen (Green Cards are welcomed)

Primary Location: Herndon, VA

Hours on-site: MUST WORK ON-SITE Monday – Friday
