CompTIA is currently looking for a Director level Master Instructor to manage recruitment, deployment and quality assurance of technical instructors for all CompTIA Tech Career Academy training programs. The Master Instructor will drive all trainer initiatives from sourcing to supporting while on assignment, training instructors on best practices, managing student feedback and satisfaction and working with both internal and external clients to assist with defining requirements for training programs. Experience with progressive full training life cycle management. High level of comfort in multiple training technologies, including AI, VR, AR along with competency measurements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives delivery of day-to-day quality assurance activities for all CTCA training programs
  • Has a focus on excellent student experience and outcome, working towards all students successfully completing programs, passing CompTIA certification exams and ready for employment
  • Regularly audit instructor classrooms and provide coaching as needed
  • Develop and conduct regular train-the-trainer sessions for instructors
  • Ensure technical instructors are prepared for each assignment and are provided all necessary resources to ensure training is delivered as specified by CTCA or custom training client
  • Work with technical instructors to develop consistent client experience throughout the operation
  • Collaborate with business leaders to prepare and execute programs
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with other business units to ensure effective execution of programs
  • Able to travel to national branch campuses up to 50% of business days and possibly international travel
  • Able to step in as a temporary trainer when circumstances require an immediate solution or replacement to a current trainer
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • Experience with best-practice and leading-edge instruction methods
  • Able to effectively manage a team and meet goals
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with other business units to leverage internal relationships with potential employers
  • Strong managerial experience
  • Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in project management concepts
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others to ensure successful project completion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment within accepted practices
  • Possess good organizational and phone skills
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • 4-6 years experience in training role
  • 4-6 years managing classrooms in multiple locations
  • 4+ years of adult education and training experience
  • Strong knowledge of the IT industry
  • CompTIA certifications highly preferred, or the ability to obtain CompTIA certifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Strong knowledge of IT training programs and employer relationships
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Ability to work during and after normal business hours, as needed

Other Requirements:

  • Microsoft 365 skills required.
  • Periodic travel required.
