Job Requirements


Registered Nurse

General job duties.  Types of procedures required.  

Care of 5-7 patients. Medical Unit with potential to have surgical patients, but does not usually happen.

Admissions/discharges and transfers. Non - oncology. CHF, Renal failure, Pneumonia, Cdiff, DM, most common diagnoses. Tele monitoring. 

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.

EPIC charting, scanning of medications, remote telemetry

Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Min 2 years of recent hospital experience. 

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. 

Active American Heart Assoc BLS. Active MD or compact state RN license.

Shift or schedule requirements.  

12 hour shifts, every other weekend. No call.  Never alone.

Floating to over units/departments. 

Float to other MS units 

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

30 - 35 bed unit. Typical census is 30, but can go up to 46. 

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 

1:5-7

GHR Travel Nursing is looking for experienced Med Surg RNs to work a 13 week assignment with option to extend in Salisbury, MD

5 openings available for 12 hour night shift. 

RN must have 2 years RECENT hospital experience with Med Surg patients

Travel experience preferred
