Job Title: : HR Assistant

Duration : 12+ Months contract (Possible Extension)

Location: 14501 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707

Shift Timings: As early as 7:30 am – 5PM

Job Description:

  • The Temporary Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Team includes answering the phones, taking messages, greeting clients, performing administrative support duties.
  • This role may be assigned to provide administrative support to the various teams within the Human Resources Office.

Skills Required:

  • General knowledge of the administrative procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Effective verbal and listening skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office automation software.

Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of administrative experience.
  • At least 1 year experience working in a Human Resources office/department environment - Proffered
  • Administrative experience in an office environment - Preferred

Education Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field - Preferred
