The primary responsibility in this role is to own warehouse operations, with a focus on accuracy, quality of work, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities of the NEW BARNWOOD Warehouse Manager will be as follows:
Skills / Experience Required
· Excellent written & oral communication skills
· Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
· Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
· Strong math skills with ability to calculate figures and amounts to include proportions, percentages, and basic algebra & geometry.
· Strong aptitude for learning
Education & Experience
· 3 to 5 years of experience in related industry, in a warehouse or material management role preferred.
· Associates degree in logistics, supply chain preferred.
· Experience in working with logistics & operations management software.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
· Sitting, walking, lifting products & samples
· Operation of small machine tools (primarily chop-saw) for cutting samples.
· OSHA licensed and highly skilled to operate forklift
· Typical work hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
