Job Description

The Administrative Assistant models effective facility leadership; possesses proficient managerial, time management and organizational skills for working with issues related to the administrative duties of facility and other related business needs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is recommended. The Administrative Assistant must demonstrate human relations and effective communications skills. 

Objective:

The Administrative Assistant implements a customer-focused financial plan that supports the Paul Mitchell Schools' culture, the admissions process and service in the school, and its Future Professionals. He or she must be detailed oriented.  He or she will monitor Future Professional hours, payments, invoicing and support the Director, Dean and Human Resource Leader with additional clerical and bookkeeping tasks.  He or she demonstrates integrity, ethical behavior, and a high level of confidentiality in recognizing and working with confidential information and records concerning the personal finances of Future Professionals.

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent, business school and or college courses
  • At least 3+ years leadership/management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leadership and business
  • Passion for the beauty industry and people
  • Honesty and professionalism
  • Solid work history with verifiable references
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient organization skills
  • QuickBooks and Bookkeeping skills
  • Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint
