Position: Branch Manager

Reports to: Regional Operations Director

 

POSITION SUMMARY


The Branch Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the daily activities of the Branch.  They will coordinate activities of the staff in making loans and collections of delinquent accounts.  The Branch Manager will develop new business and cultivate existing customer relationships. They are responsible for the supervision and development of the staff.



1. Maintains Financial Control

   a. Develops and assures that Branch growth, profitability goals and objectives are met

   b. Manages all loans including: approval of customer loans and sales finance contracts within delegated authority for lending limits

   c. Maintains Branch delinquency control and personally engages with delinquencies as appropriate  

   d. Develops and maintains Branch budget


2. Manages Branch oversight

   a. Delegates the daily assignments of solicitation of new and existing customers

   b. Oversees personnel management including:  recruiting talent, hiring, termination, disciplinary actions and salary administration

   c. Exemplifies and expects that impeccable customer service is always maintained 

   d. Ensures that communication is disseminated in a timely and efficient manner to all Branch employees

   e. Follows up on all Audit results & recommendations


3. Ensures Compliance within Branch

   a. Adheres to and enforces all Compliance issues, 1FFC policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations

   b. Makes recommendations to ROD regarding Policy and Procedures changes needed

   c. Responsible for Cash Control (i.e. deposits, cash counts)


4. Sponsors a Learning & Development environment 

   a. Facilitates (direct and indirect) development of all Branch employees

   b. Helps establish and approve development and performance review goals

   c. Supports a learning development framework that underpins and supports the growth agenda


5. Supports the 1FFC Leadership Competencies


6. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned


PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators

• Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgement

• Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings

• Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information

• Action and result focused

• Strong communication skills (verbal / written / interpersonal)

• Proficient with MS Office Suite products

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate an automobile


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum one to two (1-2) years experience in financial services dealing with customers and managing staff personnel
