We are looking for an experienced Product Finance Manager to join our team.
The Product Finance Manager candidate focuses on measuring input costs, sales revenues and margins for all Ritter product and technology services. This position owns the pricing strategy of Ritter Communications products and services in-conjunction with the Product Management organization. The Product Finance Manager position enables the modeling and realization of a linear financial plan that unites product revenues with sales quotas, margin performance, time-to-cash measurement and sales’ forecasting that feeds the overall annual budgeting strategy of the company. The ideal candidate possesses a high-level of financial modeling ability along with experience in forecasting profitability for a given product set. Additionally, the candidate must possess a broad knowledge of accounting principles relevant to constructing effective financial models.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead business requirements gathering sessions across multi-faceted teams in order to adequately understand business process as well as ingoing/outgoing cost and revenue streams.
Work closely with sales and accounting teams to ensure that profitability is forecasted and measured accurately.
Develop complete cost models for all existing and new technology services and update the models continually on an ongoing basis.
Support Product and Project Managers in compiling relevant data for developing reports that allow accurate measurement and forecasting of P&L on product and business lines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Operational and Billing Systems with ability to lead teams in implementing financial reporting requirements that support the organization.
Ability to maintain a standard product pricing sheet for all sales organizations; maintain margin calculation tools used by sales teams to compile customer solution deals.
Ability to support Sales Organization in calculating deal profitability and measuring performance.
Support Product Managers in developing business cases for new opportunities.
Support Product Managers in managing pricing strategy.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and 5 years work experience in a Finance, Accounting or Purchasing Analyst/Manager role preferred.
Previous financial modeling for complex systems required; MAcc/MBA preferred.
Previous experience leading cross-functional teams on financial projects with proven results is required; commission’s calculation experience preferred.
Candidate must be able to convey strong interpersonal skills along with a wide-ranging degree of technical capability and understanding.
