As a Counter Sales Manager, you grow value-added revenue by engaging rental sales associates and guests.  Focusing on coaching performance and demonstrating leadership, you will develop a culture to maximize your income and the profitability of the company.  The position works closely with the General Manager and Director of Sales in optimizing the guests’ experience and revenue growth of the location.


Support and motivate employees through coaching the daily productivity of front-line sales associates

Develops onboarding personnel, through our MPS program

Lead by example demonstrating the NPS2 sales and customer service process, by completing guest transactions as needed throughout the workday

Engage incoming guests in line to build a relationship and determine qualifying information

Ensure the image of the locations customer-facing areas meets company standard.

Monitor all rental associates to make sure the company standards of Yield and NPS are maintained

Follow all company policies and procedures

Monitor all sales activity of the location, formulate action plans and monitor ways to improve results

Creates Weekly Sales and Customer service reports

Participate in all phases of Human Resources Management, working with the General Manager and Director of Revenue including but not limited to, recruiting, discipline, training, performance reviews, and scheduling

Address and respond to customer issues, follow up on guest sale-related surveys

High school diploma (or GED equivalent); college degree preferred

Minimum of two years’ experience managing frontline staff in a sales and customer service environment

Previous experience as a manager or supervisor with a rental car company a plus but not required

Excellent managerial/supervisory skills

Strong customer value-added sales skills

Ability to evaluate employee and customer needs

Strong time management, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks, as well as resolve recurring and some irregular problems

Ability to handle and solve problems in a professional manner

Ability to work and succeed in a multicultural environment
