Accounts Receivable Specialist - Accounting and Finance - Accountant



Job Description

PrideStaff Financial, a recruiting firm specializing in general accounting and finance positions, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. In this role you must comply with established policies and procedures.



Accounts Receivable Specialist - Accounting and Finance - Accountant



Job Responsibilities


  • Responsible for resolution of all unapplied transactions to include maintaining provision for bad debt records, actual bad debt records, and recovery of bad debt records; maintain accurate records of clients
  • Process and reconcile invoices and payments on a timely basis with the Accounts Receivable module balancing to the general ledger at end-of-month
  • Review documents and post all payments to accounts receivable computerized system and communicate with the client when necessary; review, process, and post receivable invoices for monthly sales/revenue
  • Assist in the development of accounts receivable procedures; recommend more accurate or efficient accounts receivable procedures
  • Maintain an open communication with all employees and managers in a manner, which encourages communication of information
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Ensure that confidentiality regarding employees, clients, or vendors is not disclosed to anyone except as authorized by corporate officials


The ideal candidate would possess:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational skills, and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies





Accounts Receivable Clerk - Accounting and Finance - Accountant


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; Associate's degree in Business-related field, or some college training preferred
  • Experience in approvals
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
