Completes MIG welding of company products consistent with corporate mission, values and departmental financial objectives.
Ø Read and interpret weld symbols on shop drawings and blueprints.
Ø Perform production MIG welding to conform to specified dimensions.
Ø Ensure all welds are complete and meet required quality standards.
Ø Repair bad welds as necessary.
Ø Make clean, neat cuts in various thicknesses of steel using various cutting equipment (oxy/acetylene torch, Air Arc, or plasma cutter).
Ø Put Safety first and work in a safe and productive manner.
Ø Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to: cleaning, scrap removal, other production-related tasks.
Ø Assist with the annual inventory audit process.
Ø High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ø One to three years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ø Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
Ø Ability to pass any standard, recognized test required to perform production welding.
