Job Description:

As a Recruiting Consultant, you lead the design and implementation of recruitment strategies, along with the execution of end-to-end recruitment processes such as sourcing and screening top talent, developing and managing diverse talent pipelines and consulting with business partners on the hiring process from selection through offer.

Update on Schedule and Work Location:
F/T - will be work from home (WFH) for now, but plan to go back to the building on June 1 with a rotating A/B schedule to have only 50% in the building until social distancing protocols are lifted - so 1 week in office and 1 week WFH. After social distancing is lifted, then it will likely be a 4/1 schedule weekly, so 4 days in office and 1 at home. Might have some flex on that.

Your Impact – What You Will Do:

1. You will manage highly complex business unit partner relationships and recruit for specialized positions, including an emphasis on leadership roles. To keep things interesting, you may have the opportunity to also recruit for positions outside of your assigned business units.
2. Partnerships are key! You''ll develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers of all levels to identify industry trends and support strategic business and recruiting initiatives.
3. Bringing new people into the organization is a life-changing event. From prescreen through employment offer and up to start date, you’ll represent Client and provide a positive experience for each candidate while creating a diverse pipeline of specialized talent.
4. You’ll develop and lead recruitment strategies to address workforce-planning needs for business units in partnership with HR professionals and senior management.
5. Having a pulse on market conditions and industry trends will allow you to consult effectively on recruitment strategies and share the talent market supply.
6. You will demonstrate expert usage and maximization of AI digital tools and technologies to deliver talent results and recruitment strategies and solutions.
7. Do you enjoy project work? You get to plan and oversee projects tied to innovation, continuous improvement and extraordinary customer care.
8. You’ll identify, establish, and represent Client nationally through professional and diversity organizations and associations.
9. You are accountable for executing policies, processes, programs and consulting services for senior management to optimally utilize recruiting capabilities.
10. You get to partner with senior management to plan strategic recruiting initiatives to enhance the organization's capability, performance, and goal achievement.
11. You serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to other recruiters, team members and business units on TA procedures, processes and services as needed.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.


Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager or Director, Talent Acquisition. Direct reports not typically assigned. Indirect reports not typically assigned.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline

Experience: Desired minimum of six to eight years progressively more responsible human resources management responsibility, including corporate recruiting programs.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proven knowledge of candidate sourcing and professional recruiting practices, human resource management disciplines, e.g., selection, training and development, performance management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, etc. Knowledge of the specialized needs of financial, technical, and insurance industry recruiting.

Skills/Competencies:
Demonstrated skills in negotiating, persuading, counseling, influencing and resolving conflict among potential candidates, internal customers and vendors.
Strong communication skills, listening, written and verbal.
Ability to analyze information and recruiting needs.
Demonstrated skill in managing multiple projects of diverse issues.
Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment tools, technologies and best practices.
Demonstrated experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
