Our Independence, Ohio, client is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department. The company is a privately held, stable and successful. Prepare monthly bank collateral and other compliance reports. Manage collateral audits by banks.
Assist in preparing monthly consolidated financial statements. Provide written analysis and interpretation of operating results and changes in the balance sheet. Perform reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
Maintain financial records and prepare monthly financial statements and written analysis for the holding company and affiliated companies. Management of intercompany billings from the holding company to subsidiary companies.
Assist with the annual audit including preparation of all working paper support, scheduling of activities, audit report preparation, year-end reporting package, and addressing questions and issues.
Manage insurance and audits by carriers including workers’ compensation and unemployment audits by State authorities. Assist with annual insurance policy renewal.
Perform daily tasks including billing, accounts payable and cash application.
Assist in consolidation and preparation of financial analysis for the consolidated Annual Business Plan.
Prepare departmental expense budgets for the corporate office.
Manage Fixed Assets and Depreciation schedules.
Manage Sales & Use tax filings.
Provide backup for salaried payroll function.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years of experience leading a team
