What you will do

  • Grow business for Pharma and Industrial end-users and provide day-to-day support of business development initiatives to increase sales and growth of the assigned business portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert in label conversion and end-use applications with end-users as well as coordinate and provide market data to the Portfolio and Product owners.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience for business partners and prospects to develop long-term business opportunities.
  • Assist Global Business Development Director’s and SBU’s to identify unmet needs and implement initiatives to meet those needs.
  • Establish and develop effective relationships with relevant end-use organizations to build partnerships leading to future growth opportunities.
  • Participate in trade associations and technical conferences related to target market opportunities. Monitor and report on industry trends, build influence through establishing relationships in the entire segment value chain.
  • Achieve and maintain high rate of velocity in generating new project leads through extensive networking, marketing campaigning and conference participation.
  • Collaborate with local area sales, segment managers, global R&D, and product development.
  • Serve key function of maintaining productive end-user relationships by working closely to assure Raflatac products are specified and used appropriately.
  • Provide technical advice regarding application requirements, printing and converting advice, and label application.

Who you are

  • You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to BS in a relevant discipline, including business, engineering, packaging, chemical engineering, chemistry, etc., and minimum 5 years’ experience in end-user packaging sales or business development.
  • You have experience with printer OEM’s, contract packagers, flexible packaging and bottle manufacturing is a plus. Proven project management skills are required.
  • You have well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively assess situations, assimilate information from a range of sources, and present solutions.
  • You have strong business acumen, including excellent communication skills, you are proficient with MS Word and Excel, you are able to learn other software applications.
  • You are able to function well as a member of a team and demonstrate initiative to complement our company culture.
