Operations Manager
HIRING ASAP!! Looking for an International Freight Operations Coordinator to coordinate and proccess international freight transactions associated with the movement and delivery of goods on behlaf of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and control all aspects of the operation
- Execute imports and exports processes for Air and Ocean transport modes
- Generate SOPs for all accounts assigned
- Managing the process of imported product from the supplier
- Obtaining accurate information relating to import/export ocean shipments
- Facilitating effective communication between Vendors
- Communication with customer service, warehouse personnel, and steamship lines to resolve shipment and/or service issues
- Track inbound shipments with the Merchandising Team, Operations Team, Warehouse Manager etc. to collect necessary data to route freight quickly and efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Ocean and/or Air Freight
- Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
