  • Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc. 

Additional:

  • 5-10 years cabling experience
  • 5+ years’ experience leading crews
  • Travel weekly – Must be OK with days/night shifts
  • Travel Schedule: Leave Monday return Friday consecutively
  • Environment: New Construction, New Stores, New Builds, Remodels

Lead Travel Technician – Charlotte, NC

Executive Alliance is in the market for two Lead Cable Technicians for TRAVEL work based out Charlotte, NC. These are structure cabling positions dealing with low voltage work at strictly commercial sites. These positions are immediately available and candidates can interview as soon as possible.

  • Provided for Travel Technicians: Hotel accommodations, Per Diem provided - You will NOT be required to use own vehicle.
  • Sample of travel schedule: Leave town (Charlotte) on Monday - Return to Charlotte the following Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various hands one tasks as a technician such as cable pulling, cable routing, installations, and other related tasks.
  • Handle a variety of low voltage cables and wires such as CAT 5, CAT 5e, CAT6, fiber optic cable, and more.
  • Perform inspection of all work and cable lines.
  • Perform cable preparation and lay ground cables.
  • Rack and stack work, closet work, and patch panels.
  • Install support structures such as ladders, racks, j-hooks and more.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism on project work sites and other related work
  • Terminating data jacks. Building out cable closets (MDF/IDFs)
