Sterling Medical is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services at our U.S.  Iwakuni Naval Station in Japan.



About Sterling Medical:


We have been providing services of this nature since 1980 at military facilities, and at overseas military facilities since 1995, a period of over 23 years. Overseas nations in which we provide service include Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Bahrain, South Korea, Japan and other overseas locations. We are the largest provider of direct medical staff to U.S. military facilities overseas.   • Shall have, as a minimum, a master’s degree in the field of speech pathology
  • Shall have a certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) as awarded by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Shall have and maintain a current license to practice Speech and Language Pathology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license shall be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration)
  • Early Intervention providers should have a minimum of two (2) years of early intervention professional experience.
  • All providers should have at least one (1) year within the past five (5) years of experience working within the 0-3 age group.
  • Provider must have knowledge and experience in IFSP input and development

Hours: M-F Day Hours Only


Target Start: Late 2020/Early 2021
