We have been engaged by an award-winning creator and worldwide publisher of interactive entertainment (ie. computer games) in Rockville, MD. They’re looking for a temp to hire AP Specialist to start asap.
This is an entry-level, heavy data-entry, administrative in nature. They would like the candidate to have at least a couple of years’ experience. Degrees (BA or AA) are a plus. Oracle or other large ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) is a plus. Pay while in contract is $20 - $22 an hour.
Candidates must be eligible to work in US now and in future; no sponsorship.
This position will start in contract with an hourly rate of $20 - $22 an hour depending on experience, but could potentially go permanent for the right candidate with a salary of $40,000 - $45,000 yearly.
We are looking for an objective Accounts Payable Clerk who combines a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently or in a team setting. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Specific requirements for this Accounts Payable position include:
- Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Oracle software experience is a plus
- Minimum 2 years AP experience
- Excel pivot tables
