We’re currently looking for a Commercial Credit Analyst 2 to join our team at in Irving, Texas.


This role will be responsible for:

Floorplan:

  • The Commercial Credit Analyst is tasked with preparing commitment letters for floorplan, wholesale daily rental, capital loans and revolving lines of credit.
  • Generates and coordinates receipt of any necessary documentation with the dealership.
  • Assists the legal department in the preparation and review of documentation to ensure proper security is obtained as it relates to NMAC’s collateral.
  • Works in conjunction with Inventory Control and Wholesale Processing to on board new accounts and perform maintenance of existing accounts.
  • Candidate must be capable of formulating sound loan structure and have an understanding of legal documentation (i.e. UCC filings).
  • The position also works with the field organization regarding dealership financing requests and maintenance of existing accounts

Real Estate:

  • The Commercial Credit Analyst is tasked with preparing commitment letters for mortgage and construction loans. Generates and coordinates receipt of any necessary documentation with the Borrower, Legal Counsel and Title Company.
  • Assists NMAC legal department, outside legal counsel & title companies in the preparation and review of documentation to ensure proper security is obtained as it relates to NMAC’s collateral.
  • Works in conjunction with Inventory Control and Wholesale Processing to on board new accounts and perform maintenance of existing accounts.
  • Candidate must be capable of formulating sound loan structure and have an understanding of legal documentation (i.e. UCC filings).
  • The position also works with the field organization regarding dealership financing requests and maintenance of existing accounts.

Job functions include but are not limited to:

Floorplan:

  • Upon Credit Committee approval, prepare floorplan, capital loan, revolving and acquisition lines of credit, and annual review documentation.  As requested, prepare NRC/ICV documents and maintain reports/logs.
  • Work with the legal department in preparation of documents including but not limited to, cross agreements, inter-creditor agreements, subordination agreements, wholesale and cap loan agreements, resolutions and guarantees.
  • Process rate adjustments and line adjustments including suspensions and reinstatements.
  • Works in conjunction with Inventory Control and Wholesale Processing to set-up new accounts and perform maintenance of existing accounts.  Prepare wire transfers as requested.
  • Work with the field organization to establish new accounts and maintain existing accounts
  • File UCCs, order and review UCC searches, determine if NMAC has correct priority position and take appropriate action if needed.
  • Work with outside entities, auditors, insurance companies and other lenders, as required by business needs.

Real Estate:

  • Develops and maintains business relationships with dealer personnel. Interacts with Borrowers regarding lending decisions based on credit evaluations.
  • Supports the sales team, funding department and support staff by solving credit, finance, and compliance issues.
  • Prepare mortgage commitment letters based on approved credit write-ups. Responsible for obtaining all documentation checklist items to close mortgages and construction loans.
  • Work with legal department to review all loan documents prior to closing the mortgage loan including property appraisals and environmental reports to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure UCCs are filed in a timely manner with NMAC in first lien position.
  • Submit loan set-up for new loans and ensure all information has been entered accurately and prepare loan folders for quality check and scanning.
  • Review and process construction disbursement requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial/consumer lending experience in a financial environment, preferably automotive.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and attention to detail skills required in addition to strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be team oriented and results driven.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Versed in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and capable of learning customized programs, systems, and applications.
  • Requires contact with internal and external customers.
  • Sensitive contact with financial data

The selected candidate must be able to work up until 10:00 pm - depending on the region and rotating weekends.
