POSITION SUMMARY

You must have prior success developing the strategy for a company or division, creating financial plans and budgets, responsibility for P&L, executing a growth plan that maximized revenue and EBITDA, managing and developing people, and implemented lean/Six Sigma practices in all departments, working in an environment that engineers to order, and championing the brand and developing a culture of excellence. You have experience as the leader of a $20-25 Million company where you reported to the President and/or CEO. You excel at communication, talent development and retention, taking an organization from great to best of class, managing the success of the brand through quality and excellence, driving change and growth. You are goal orientated and have a strong sense of urgency. Experience with automation, manufacturing, engineered products is preferred. Process optimization, consumer products, personal care, food and beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, household products, pet products, wine and spirits, is helpful, but not required.

Identify and lead new business opportunities and R&D.  

Develop relationships with outside parties such as governmental representatives, agencies, and educational institutions to build partnerships.  

Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business unit and with the executive leadership team, the company as a whole.  

Achieving the organization's overall strategic goals and profitability requirements as determined by the strategic plans. 

Continual monitoring of industry trends and convey the information to the remainder of the management staff.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Engineering or Management

Master's Degree Preferred, Field of Study: Engineering or Management

Experience:

7-10 plus years of experience in managing a manufacturing division
