Bookkeeper needed with Construction company in Miami area.
Strong QuickBooks a MUST
-Run Certified Payroll
-construction accounting experience a plus (Not a must)
-QuickBooks maintenance; including monthly bank reconciliations.
-Perform full-payroll using QuickBooks: Job-Costed; Insurance and payroll tax accrual
-Report monthly IDES and weekly payroll tax payments
-Maintain the General Ledger accounts; fixed assets and note payable accounts
-Track insurance codes
-Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
-Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.
-Accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees.
-Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
What you need to succeed:
-Tenacious desire for accuracy, follow-up and on time performance.
-Solid 3-5 years general financial AND payroll accounting experience.
-Experience working with construction necessary.
-Spanish is a plus.
-Must be organized
