  • Perform software and hardware inventory

  • Extend computer support for systems' software and hardware
  • Resolve moderately complex end-user hardware/software problems including remote access software
  • Provide end-user support for software and hardware issues
  • Install software or perform hardware testing at the users desk site
  • Maintain, and repair computer related hardware

  • Assist or train on the software/hardware
  • Coordinate repairs on technology hardware
  • Research and resolve technical problems for both hardware and software issues
  • Analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems
  • Provide recommendations of program changes to correct software problems
  • Assist in preparation and conducting of physical inventories
  • Maintain specific quality records to ensure standards
  • Resolve PC hardware/software, printers, and network related problems
  • Provide some desk side technical support for hardware and software
  • Manage the deployment and support of field network systems

Level II Technician-Audio Visual $18.00 HR/ DOE

 

A local Laramie, WY company is searching for a Level II Technician who will have core responsibilities in performing comprehensive, onsite audio/visual equipment installation.  The Level II Technician is a vital role within the company, working directly with the project manager and customer on large- and small-scale projects. Our Level II Technician will work independently, taking the lead on company reporting and tracking. Excellent opportunity with a national company, some travel involved. Pay is $18.00 per DOE

Duties to perform comprehensive, onsite audio/visual equipment installation include:

  • Low voltage wiring, trim-out
  • equipment setup, plasma/LCD, projection systems, media rooms, audio hardware and speakers, and control systems
  • Perform cable pull paths, diagnose structural/room interior
  • Install video conferencing system including Polycom, Cisco and Lifesize
  • Install Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems
  • Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
