Solid, well established company near the Monterey, CA area is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist.
Duties include processing high volume payroll and maintaining payroll information as required, maintaining PTO programs, calculating and processing off-cycle checks as needed, identifying any issues/ errors, researching discrepancies with payroll information to ensure accuracy, preparing and maintaining payroll records and reports and providing administrative support when needed.
This position has a strong focus on customer service!
Experience processing full cycle, high volume payroll is necessary. Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work well under deadlines. High attention to detail; organized and thorough.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service experience.
Must have knowledge of current payroll and tax laws.
