Our client Freight forwarder company has 17 offices in the USA and is also a customs broker.  There are 8 subordinates in the Houston Branch.  Four report to the licensed CHB as they are import coordinators.  The branch manager must have experience in the following areas:


Doing annual reviews on all branch personnel

Setting up a monthly and quarterly budget

Monthly profit and loss statement

Helping the salesman close new customers

Should have  a strong export background to compliment the import side.

Familiar with ocean, air, and truck carriers.

Local Houston candidates only from competitor freight forwarders.
