Service Technician-Hydraulic Commercial Equipment

Dynamic, rapidly-growing, family owned Industrial Equipment Company is looking for a self-motivated, experienced Service Equipment Technicians. Two (2) plus years of experience of industrial equipment in servicing, installing with excellent customer service skills may qualify you for this great opportunity.




Essential Responsibilities:


  • Perform all necessary assembly, welding, prep and paint maintenance and repair for our industrial equipment

  • Industrial equipment loading and unloading and fabrication of equipment accessories& rebuilds for commercial customers

  • Diagnose and repair of hydraulic systems, mechanical and electrical components of those units

  • Perform all necessary welding on above mentioned equipment

  • Maintain proper inventory, parts, tools and knowledge is using appropriate safety equipment

  • Diagnose service issues, obtain needed replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s specifications

  • Excellent customer service abilities in dealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical and scheduling issues

  • Perform quality work with honesty and diligence and follow company procedures and values

  • Two (2) plus years of experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting and correcting diverse service issues on industrial recycling, waste, balers, shredders, compactors and all other equipment

  • Verifiable experience to develop recommendations for repairs and equipment installations

  • Hydraulics experience to trouble shoot and identify repairs on hydraulic cylinders & hydraulic systems

  • Ability to Weld and fabricate necessary for equipment repairs

  • Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals

  • Proven ability in installing, replacing and serving recycling, waste, balers, shredders, compactors systems for commercial properties

  • Welding experience required with Arc and Friction

  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain service issues in a polite and affable manner

  • Capable of working with fellow technicians and office team members

  • Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or extended shifts

  • Ability to lift 50Lbs

  • No more than 2(two) moving violations in the past 3(three) years   

  • CDL B Preferred
