Title: Sales Representative (Japanese Bilingual)

Term: Full time
Languages: Japanese and English
Salary: 35K-40K (DOE)
Location: La Vergne, TN
Start: ASAP

Job Duties:

• Make periodical visits and courtesy calls to current and potential new customers, followup with new business opportunities and other needs.

• Management of phaseout/buildout information.

• Receive RFQ (Request for Quotation) and respond as soon as required by customer.

• Communicate with supervisor, group companies in Japan, Thailand or China, and outside process suppliers for necessary information to prepare quotes.

• Receive technical questions/inquiries such as engineering change investigation, feasibility study request, design review request and etc. Communicate with supervisor, engineering department in Japan, outside process suppliers for necessary information to prepare quotes.

• Respond to customers’ APR (annual price review) request. Communicate with domestic suppliers as well as group companies in Japan, Thailand and China to review the best possible response.

• At least twice a year, prepare shortterm and longterm sales forecast for company’s budgeting.

• Participation in the new program launch activities.

• Participation in quality activities.

• Participation in ISO/TS16949 audit and its preparation by either internal auditors or outside certification body.

• Monitor competitors’ marketing and engineering trends.

• Communication and negotiation with customers as needed.

Requirements:

Proficient in English and Japanese (both speaking and writing)

• Teamplayer

• Strong PC skill (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point)
