Job Description

Records Specialist II: Research Coordinator, Office of the Registrar

Position: Regular, Full-Time

Salary Range: $16.00 to $22.00 per hour 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

We are seeking a Records Specialist II: Research Coordinator to work out of our administrative headquarters in Santa Barbara, CA.


SUMMARY

The Records Specialist II: Curriculum Coordinator serves as the senior and lead Records Specialist reporting to the Associate Registrar. This position will serve as a lead staff member and will be expected to provide training to others in the unit.


Position Responsibilities

• Process information and perform data entry related to student records, course registration and research curriculum

• Provide first layer of approval for key dissertation steps and processes

• Serve as a resource person for research curriculum requirements

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors or Master’s degree in humanities, social sciences, liberal arts or business is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability is acceptable.

2 to 3 years of clerical or administrative experience in higher education, preferably in a Registrar’s office.
