Job Requirements

Industrial/Commercial/Healthcare laundry experience needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Review job orders to determine work priorities.


Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.


Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines and tools.


Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.


Develops and monitors preventive maintenance program in conjunction with production staff.


Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities and work schedules.


Inspects and troubleshoots operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.


Plans, develop and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.


Directs the requisition and purchase of tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.


Directs training and of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.  Ensures staff conforms to company policy and procedures including lock-out tag out, safe working practices, and infection control policies.


Confers with management personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.


Compensation based on experience.

Industrial Laundry looking for an Experienced Maintenance Engineer to Maintain and Troubleshoot Equipment, Electrical schematic reading, troubleshooting required. Basic knowledge of Welding, HVAC, Hydraulics, Plumbing, and Mechanical is a plus.

The applicant must strictly adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures. They must have their own tools/toolbox to be left on site, their own transportation, and be willing to work long hours when needed.

Must be able to communicate in English. 

The physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to, repeated bending, stooping, pulling, stretching, twisting, and lifting of up to 80 lbs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Possesses strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Organized with strong time Organizational skills.
Be a good communicator, able to work through problems with other team members or equipment vendors.
Able to complete work-order & document work performed.

The Operation runs 6 days a week, two Saturdays per month, some holidays, and overtime required.
