Summary: Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
This position is responsible for the financial planning, financial management, and day-to-day accounting operations. This includes overall financial reporting, cash management, generating monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and maintaining an adequate system of internal controls and budgeting. This position oversees those responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, and depreciation.
Plan, organize, and manage the process for financial forecasting and budgets of multiple subsidiaries, including the development, interpretation, coordination and administration of financial policies and procedures. Provide leadership in cost savings, systems improvement, and added-value processes.
Define and implement global operational accounting procedures and internal control processes with locations in several continents. Manage global cash accounts and provide daily cash report.
Manage foreign exchange transactions, transfer pricing, and set up FX hedges when needed.
Maintain appropriate internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
Oversee and manage the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate monthly and financial statement close/consolidation.
Develop existing accounting staff, hire and train as needed to support growth of the business.
Prepare and perform comprehensive analytical review of the monthly financial statements. Investigate and correct any accounting/financial reporting issues. Present financial performance information to ownership.
Annually, prepare the comprehensive monthly budget for the year. Include budget to actual comparisons in the monthly reporting packages and ensure that the company is managing the business to the budget.
Make sure all required tax filings and payments are being prepared, processed and filed timely.
Arrange for audits of company's accounts.
Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
Maintain relationships with outside accounting firms, banks, and other financial institutions.
Inherent in each position is the general duty to maintain each respective work area in a safe and sanitary condition. Manages approximately 30 employees in the Accounting Department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
CPA license is preferred.
Experience with family business is preferred.
Over 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience gained in a variety of finance environments.
International experience required.
Manufacturing experience required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Hands on experience of using and operating ERP systems and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Manufacturing software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Certified Public Accountant license preferred
