Job Requirements
- Fit weld pipe or butt weld pipe
- Using pipe-bending tools and pipe-bending machine
- Assembling and installing pipe systems
- Use pipe bending machine to bend pipe to required angles
- Maintain pipe systems and components
- Test new piping systems and pipe components
- Layout and fit up pipe systems
- Fit and install all types of pipes
- Prepare and fit pipe for welding by a certified pipe welder or join pipe and fittings
- Inspect and test installed pipe systems
- Cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine to cut and thread pipe
- Weld pipe supports to structural steel members
- Move pipe materials to fab tables
- Conduct routine pipe repairs and modifications to piping systems
- Install high and low pressure pipe
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems
- Using pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine
- Avoid obstructions and cutting pipe Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine Assembling and joining piping by means
- Installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior
- Cutting torches to craft proper pipe sizes
