Manufacturing Engineer

Stein Seal Company is actively searching for a Manufacturing Engineer that will be responsible for design, development and the documentation of manufacturing processes.  We are a manufacturing company that specializes in precision sealing components for the Nuclear, Petrochemical and Aerospace Markets.

We are located just off the Lansdale Exit of the PA Turnpike.  We offer an excellent benefit package which includes medical, dental, short term and long term disability, a 401(k) and a company paid pension plan.  

Accountabilities

  • Develop highly capable manufacturing processes for new products and revisions
  • Design new fixturing and/or gaging
  • Verification of processes meeting requirements of Engineering drawings
  • Utilize Lean principles to identify, develop and implement process improvements
  • Troubleshoot process and fixture related issues
  • Support the CNC machine shop

  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Industrial and/or equivalent experience
  • Level one Lean certified or greater
  • SPC experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Manufacturing/Machinist experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor programs
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
