General Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the regional sales manager in the equipment sales of the Company and is expected to establish and meet annual sales objectives established by the Company. In addition, this position is also required to achieve individual sales goals for the Company.  We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. Our ideal candidate will uphold the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Sales Associate will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations


- Travel 30-60 % 

- Length of travel: 2-6 days

- Travel 100% reimbursable 



Essential Job Functions




  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Identifies sales prospects and contact them and other accounts as assigned to introduce the Company products.
  • Contacts potential customers both by phone and in person regularly.
  • Screens leads, provides initial technical data, and determines appropriate prioritization and enters qualified leads into the Company’s sales pipeline.
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activities.
  • Visits customer sites to gather information for quotations includes sizing equipment.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts and monitors delivery schedules for orders obtained.
  • Develops sales and action targets and submits monthly action plan; Actively Implements the strategic sales plan accordingly.
  • Reports customer related activities every month to Senior Management.
  • Works with engineers to determine detailed specification of orders obtained.
  • Develops greater knowledge and familiarity with the Company products.
  • Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem
  • Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
  • Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product feature


Customer Service



  • Responsible for answering current and prospective customers’ questions and inquiries about the products.

  • Stays involved and works closely with customers for smooth transactions.

  • Receives and processes orders, provides information regarding current pricing, changes in service, discontinuance of items, and shipping.

  • Identifies and resolves client concerns; Resolves customers’ complaints via phone and/or email.

Other & Miscellaneous



  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.

  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Regional Sales Manager or GM of Sales.

  • Reports to work daily based on company schedule and complies with all company policies and procedures.

  • Completes any assigned work.

  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.

  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to the GM of Sales for solution.

  • Maintains good communication with the GM of Sales, other office staff members and outside contacts.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two to four years of related experience.

  • General understanding of the principles of sales

  • Strong communication skills

  • Superb Customer service excellence

  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas

  • General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, printer, scanner, etc.

  • Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Outlook, MS Office and MS Excel.
