Job Description

 Position: Store Manager - In Training


Position Description: The Manager in Training is responsible for learning, and then implementing, all of the procedures involved for Sales and Store Management. The Manger in Training will spend time reviewing and studying all aspects of the Bob Mills Furniture environment and business practices. They will be learning areas such as, but not limited to, accounting, finance, cashiering, human resources, floor design, warehouse operations, logistics, merchandising, and sales practices.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all functions of the store and day-to-day operations
  • Manage all staff including the Sales, Warehouse, Office, and Visual departments
  • Retrieve and analyze daily reports including, but not limited to, budget, sales numbers, and customer surveys (NPS)
  • Stay current on product knowledge and market trends
  • Manage the Sales Teams including, but not limited to, being involved in the selection process and helping train and develop sales associates
  • Interact with customers, resolve issues and assist sales associates with 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of sales management or general management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful sales experience
  • Customer focused
  • Proficient with computer based systems
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong to expert level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • closing sales


Compensation: Based on experience
