A day in the life of a Housekeeping Aide at Hackensack Meridian includes:
Under direction of the Housekeeping Director or Supervisor, is responsible for completing daily assignment including cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, common areas, offices etc.
Maintain environment in patient rooms according to infection control standards. Demonstrate a personal commitment to the facility's patient satisfaction effort by readily acknowledging and offering assistance to patient, families, visitors, customers and co-workers.Completes assignments and job responsibilities within allotted time frames. Responds immediately to customer's needs and requests. Takes immediate and appropriate action to effectively maintain work flow.
