Our rapidly-growing Oil & Gas company is located in Central Houston. This is a position that is expected to rise through the ranks quickly and should be ready to take on new challenges daily. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting, finance or audit. This is a permanent and full-benefits position within the corporate accounting department.

Preparation and reconciliation of the detailed balance sheet
Preparation of stock-based compensation related entries and supporting schedules
Fixed assets reporting including acquisitions, monthly depreciation, dispositions, and property rendition
Prepare necessary budget/forecast information for the corporate entity
Support the annual audit and quarterly review activity with external auditors
Coordinate information across multiple business units, build effective business relationships with others in the Company
Maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley internal control certification requirements
Assist with integration of acquired companies into the Company's financial reporting processes
o 1+ years of experience in accounting
o Skilled in performing financial and analytical computations
o Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field is required.
