The Transportation Specialist is responsible for processing all associated renewal work to ensure clients fleets are legal and able to operate.

Additional responsibilities may include processing all new equipment to enable client’s ability to operate, completing transfers of vehicles between states and disposals of retired equipment. Associates are also responsible for gathering appropriate fees and subsequently paying for all activities within the state, and will ultimately develop working relationships with a variety of contacts within the states DMVs.

Associates will become Subject Matter Experts on all required tasks to ensure 100% legalization of fleets operating within the United States.

In addition, timely response to email requests and phone calls from external and internal team members, and provide and respond to per unit status updates is required.

The ability to multi-task, provide clear documentation of activities, assist in continually improving processes and the ability to work within a team environment is required.

The position is fast-paced, ever-changing and requires tremendous attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Process and prepare paperwork to mail to states for renewals, registering new equipment, transfer, or dispose of equipment.
• Process all returned documentation and subsequently deliver to clients locations
• Ensure timely delivery of all work
• Routinely document status of all associated work within required format for larger understanding of status
• Partner closely with external state liaisons to drive timely and accurate completion of work
• Provide timely and courteous internal and external customer support
• Proactively and consistently provide status updates on work to both internal and external parties
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure work provided is accurate and timely
• Collaborate to improve function and client experience
• Keep well-documented and organized written and verbal notes
• Effectively manage multiple units/tasks at a time
