Payroll Specialist
Midwest Professional Staffing is partnering with a local company, with a presence in multiple states, which has an immediate need for a Payroll Specialist. This position has a reputation for treating their employees well with excellent benefits, growth opportunity, and flexibility. This position will work in a team environment and individuals will have excellent communication skills.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay: $45,000+ depending on experience
Type: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete weekly and biweekly full cycle payroll duties
- Assist A/R area with various billing functions
- Review reports and forms for accuracy
- Prepare and input data and process garnishments and deductions, and complete various adjustments
- Prepare payroll checks for distribution
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior payroll experience required
- Associates Degree is strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills and attention to details
- Professional communication demeanor (written and verbal)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
