This temporary position involves working with at-risk youth aged 16-18 at the Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy, serving as a mentor, counselor, teacher, and front-line supervisor. The role includes ensuring a safe environment, communicating standards, observing and addressing inappropriate behavior, and documenting incidents. Preferred candidates have experience with mentoring at-risk youth, organizing group activities, and assessing behavioral data. Qualifications include an associate’s degree in human services or related field, or a high school diploma/GED with two years of relevant experience. Additional requirements may include CPR certification and Nurse Aide credentials, depending on the facility.
