Yard Person / Painter / Welder

GIVE BASIC JOB DUTIES: This position is a "Jack of all Trades." Ideal candidate will be responsible for the repairing of storage containers, along with some mechanical duties, & welding. Will perform a variety of yard tasks, including moving containers to other areas of the yard in a safe yet efficient manner. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be processed. Cleans work area, machines and equipment.

SKILLS REQUIRED (MINIMUM): 1-2 years painting & mechanical knowledge, ability to work individually or part of a small team. Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, on metal storage containers, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. Use hands to grasp, handle or operate controls and steering wheel; occasionally required to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, pull and push or lift up to 75lbs.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: Certification of Mig welding and valid driver's license are pluses. Current fork truck certification.
