Qualifications
5+ years supporting Workday implementations or transformation programs
8+ years of enterprise PMO or program leadership experience
Experience leading large-scale healthcare implementations strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Workday functional and technical workstreams
Experience managing cross-functional enterprise stakeholders and executive leadership teams
Proven experience driving governance, intake management, and implementation coordination
Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership skills
Position Overview
The Workday Program / PMO Lead will provide strategic program leadership and operational oversight for a large-scale Workday and UKG implementation initiative within a complex healthcare environment. This role will be responsible for driving governance, intake management, cross-functional coordination, implementation visibility, and delivery accountability across functional and technical workstreams.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience leading enterprise Workday implementations, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to stabilize and coordinate fast-moving programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall program governance, coordination, and delivery oversight across Workday and UKG workstreams
Establish and manage centralized intake, triage, prioritization, and escalation processes
Facilitate cross-functional alignment across HR, Payroll, Finance, Security, Integrations, and technical teams
Drive sprint planning, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution activities
Provide executive-level communication, implementation reporting, and stakeholder updates
Partner with functional and technical leads to monitor project health, dependencies, milestones, and resource alignment
Improve visibility, accountability, and operational continuity across the implementation program
Support release planning, deployment coordination, and post-go-live stabilization activities
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to reduce implementation disruption
Promote governance maturity and scalable program management best practices
