DEPARTMENT: Warehouse
JOB TITLE: Operator Level 1
REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Captain
SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 7 am - 3 pm
Friday, 6 am - 2 pm
WAGE: $17/hr.
Bonnell Aluminum is searching for an individual to join our Warehouse team.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Stock finished goods material delivered to the warehouse and accurately record and transact information
- Use shipping documents to pull outbound customer orders.
- Load trucks onto outbound trailers
- Operate forklift or Walkie Rider as needed (Company certification required)
- Inspiring others to work efficiently, defuse conflict, and make good decisions
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Job Requirements:
- Heavy lifting required. Ability to push, pull, or lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers)
- Use equipment such as chop saws, banding/strapping equipment, nail gun, etc.
- Work with little supervision
- Detail oriented
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and organize tasks in required time frames.
- Speak English at a basic level
- Prior warehouse experience a plus
