Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) Compensation

• $16.50/hr (Friday shift)
• $19.50/hr (Saturday & Sunday shifts) (includes shift differential)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates

Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) Highlights

• Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• On-site role in Covington, GA (30014)
• Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Hours: 36 hours/week

Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks; verify catalog/lot numbers, quantities, and other receiving details
• Stack boxes to a specified pallet pattern and build loads per defined palletization diagrams
• Operate a forklift to move/locate pallets into racks and storage locations
• Use scanning/data collection devices to complete inventory transactions (e.g., receiving product)
• Place required indicators/materials into loads and complete associated documentation as required
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow quality and safety procedures
• Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned, including working between Covington and Madison locations as needed

Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification (must be able to pass lift driver testing)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret basic distribution documents and follow written/verbal instructions
• Basic math and communication skills (read/comprehend simple instructions in English)
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-Up) Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of material-handling experience, especially stand-up forklift (preferred)
• Experience with warehouse scanners/data collection and inventory systems (e.g., JD Edwards)
• Prior experience with receiving, load building, and racking/pallet put-away work
