Seeking a highly skilled Vulcan Mission Operations Manager to lead teams supporting national security space launches in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities include:
Leading multidisciplinary teams in engineering, manufacturing, and quality for the Vulcan launch vehicle program.
Collaborating with program managers and technical teams to support acquisition, requirements, and performance reporting.
Managing technical reviews, risk assessments, and supporting launch rehearsals and operations.
Producing technical assessments, facilitating certification, and training personnel.
Engaging with external partners and managing technical data.
Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, 12+ years of technical program management, and 3+ years in launch or space systems.
Knowledge of USSF/NASA launch systems, hardware, and testing processes. Ability to travel locally and nationally.
Preferred qualifications involve advanced degrees, management experience, security clearances, and proficiency with collaboration tools.
Compensation ranges from $153,800 to $275,800, with comprehensive benefits. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. Candidates are considered without discrimination based on protected statuses. If needed, accommodations can be requested via email.
