We are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain transit buses and support vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable service. This in-person role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, conducting safety inspections, responding to breakdowns, and documenting work accurately.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with medium/heavy-duty vehicles, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and the ability to read technical schematics. A valid driver’s license, ASE certifications, and physical capability for manual work are required. CDL with passenger endorsement and drug/background checks are preferred.
