Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN General, Dialysis, Mental Health) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Behavioral Healthcare Provider Must-Have: - Licensed Registered Nurse with a certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Behavioral Healthcare Provider Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical sciences. This role focuses on the application of knowledge and techniques relevant to health and illness. Responsibilities include the provision of behavioral healthcare services within the credentialed scope of practice. The position entails serving as a lead worker or liaison to other support agencies. Key duties include: - Acting as a lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently creating and implementing client treatment plans. - Coordinating admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans for the client's care cycle. - Providing interventions for clients with acute and more complex needs. - Managing cases that involve numerous factors and problems while delivering crisis intervention. - Participating in the establishment, implementation, and direction of behavioral healthcare program objectives. - Developing and designing treatment intervention techniques and procedures, evaluating, and modifying treatment systems based on client progress. - Evaluating the performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers in administering prescribed treatment plans. - Maintaining necessary documentation to meet federal, state, and local agency requirements. - Serving as an active member of treatment teams and participating in training sessions and policy review meetings. - Establishing and maintaining working relationships with other facilities and agencies to coordinate referrals and follow-up services.
