Salary: $40 - $55 per hour

Job Description:

EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team in Bakersfield. This position provides an excellent opportunity to support women during one of the most important times of their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor the health and progress of mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
• Float to AHDL OB as needed to meet patient care requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or eligibility for licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
