Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and perform quality assurance on imaging equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and produce high-quality diagnostic images for timely interpretation. You will follow department protocols and ensure radiation safety and accurate documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- State radiologic technologist license for Arizona.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
- Demonstrated competence in invasive/interventional procedures and administration of radiopharmaceuticals or other approved medications, or ability to obtain specialty certification within 18 months if applicable.
- Experience performing equipment quality control and troubleshooting imaging systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform direct patient care tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds when required.
- Preferred: Additional related education or experience in hospital-based cath/IR labs.
