The Transactional Paralegal reports to the Paralegal Manager and collaborates with Attorneys in Corporate/Securities and Real Estate/Finance Practice Groups.
Key responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, conducting research, managing transaction checklists, reviewing due diligence materials, obtaining certificates of good standing, and working with registered agents and state offices to form, maintain, and dissolve entities. The role involves drafting transactional documents, coordinating closings, prioritizing high-volume, time-sensitive projects, and maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
Requirements include a bachelor’s or paralegal degree, transactional experience, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to handle confidential information.
