Tier II Tower Maintenance Technician

Wisper ISP is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Tier 2 Tower Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lebanon, MO. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for hands-on technical work in the field.

Pay: As a Tier 2 Tower Maintenance Technician, you'll earn $21–$24 per hour, based on experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We just ask that you meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be added to the company's auto insurance policy
• 1+ years of demonstrated experience as tower tech tier 1
• Ability to climb towers up to 1000 ft. and lift 25+ lbs.
• Completion of all tower tech tier 1 duties
• Demonstrate Skills with Fiber Splicers, OTDRs, and other fiber troubleshooting tools
• Complete the required tower training within 90 days of hire
• Obtain and maintain the provided training certifications per industry standards

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR TIER 2 TOWER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional after-hours work, on-call rotation, and occasional travel.

In this role, you'll climb towers up to 1,000 feet to install and maintain wireless Internet and camera systems. You'll mount equipment, run data cables, install battery backups and grounding systems, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. When serving as a team lead, you'll also ensure that other technicians operate at the highest standards and jobs are completed successfully. Every task you perform is essential to maintaining the high safety and quality standards that define our service excellence.
